Country music legend Glen Campbell passed away six years ago today, after a a six year battle with Alzheimer. During his long career Glen won four Grammys in the country and pop categories, plus a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. And both ACM and CMA Awards in 1968. He is greatly missed by his legions of fans and will always be a "Rhinestone Cowboy" to them.

Music legend Olivia Newton-John passed away one year ago today at age 73 after a 30 year battle with cancer. She started the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, an independent charity sponsoring global research into plant medicine for cancer. In 1974 Olivia won a CMA Award for female vocalist, entertainer of the year, album and single of the year. And during her career she had 17 songs on the country singles charts.
