Maren Morris has filed for divorce from Ryan Hurd after five years of marriage.
The "My Church" singer-songwriter, 33, filed on Oct. 2 in Tennessee for a dissolution of marriage from Hurd, 36 and have been separated since the day of filing.
They share a 3 1/2 year old son, Hayes Andrew Hurd.
Before welcoming Hayes in 2020, Morris revealed that she and the fellow country singer hit a rough patch as newlyweds.

"It was probably the hardest part of our relationship," she recalled to Esquire. "We went on our honeymoon, and then I immediately went on this gigantic tour opening for Niall Horan. It was more international touring than I had ever done. And I was gone more than I had ever been on any other tour." She added that the pair went to therapy amid the "tough summer" they experienced. "We have grown so much closer because we had to make some hard decisions and have some tough talks about what this future looks like and how we can make this better," she noted. "I have always loved him, but I feel like I like him in ways I never knew I could before."
