Luke Combs collaborated with Bubba Wallace for the recently unveiled No. 23 NASCAR car, showcasing a design created through a partnership with Combs’ longterm brand partnership, Columbia Sportswear.
“Honored to be the inspiration behind the design on the @columbia1938 and @23xiracing No. 23 Toyota for Saturday’s race at Daytona,” Combs wrote on social media. “Go get ‘em @bubbawallace!”
Combs and Wallace both share a North Carolina connection, Combs is from the Charlotte, N.C. area, while Wallace grew
up in the nearby Concord area. The car is colored with North Carolina Tar Heels’ blue lettering, and has a photo by his tour photographer David Bergman of Combs during a performance, accompanied by his name inscribed across the vehicle’s hood.
Wallace is driving the No.23 Toyota at Sunday’s Coke Zero Sugar 400 at the Daytona International Speedway. This race is the regular season finale for the NASCAR Cup Series and airs on NBC at 7 pm ET.
