The highly-anticipated 2023 Baby2Baby Gala returns to Los Angeles to raise funds for Baby2Baby, a national non-profit organization that supports children living in poverty. The annual gala enables Baby2Baby to continue to serve on the frontlines and innovate in response to national emergencies affecting the families that the organization serves.
The Gala will honor Salma Hayek Pinault with the “Giving Tree Award,” an honor given annually to a woman in the public eye who has shown a commitment to giving back to children in need around the world.
Known for its culinary-rich dinner experience, the Baby2Baby Gala will feature dishes from Los Angeles’ top chefs and restaurants curated and led by Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo of Carmelized Productions.
About Baby2Baby
Baby2Baby is a non-profit organization led by Co-CEOs Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein that provides children living in poverty the basic necessities that every child deserves.
In the last 12 years, Baby2Baby has distributed over 375 million essential items including diapers, formula and clothing to children in need.
Baby2Baby is reaching over one million children every year in all 50 states.
Baby2Baby is providing these items to children in homeless shelters, domestic violence programs, foster care, hospitals and underserved schools.
Baby2Baby’s Disaster Relief Program has provided over 50 million critical items to children devastated by fires, floods, hurricanes and other crises. Earlier this year, Baby2Baby delivered over 500,000 emergency supplies to children impacted by the deadly Maui wildfires.
1 in 2 families in the US are struggling to afford diapers for their babies, and this year alone Baby2Baby has requests for 1.3 billion diapers. Baby2Baby has built their own diaper manufacturing system in order to help meet this devastating need, allowing them to produce diapers for 80% less than the retail price and distribute five times more.
