Nashville's premier custom hat experience

Entrance to Rustler Hat Co

Saddle on up to the showroom bar and create your one-of-a-kind hat. Rustlers customizable hats range from $175-$850. The Nashville Showroom offers, straw, Wrangler, Ace and Outlaw hats. Accessories and customization are available for an additional cost.

Let's be honest, customization is why you are going to Rustler, you can buy a hat anywhere. You want a hat that says.....This is who I am.

I didn't go in with much of a plan, I didn't make a reservation and they were closing in 30 minutes. Therefore, I had to make all of my decisions quickly. I would suggest having a vision, even if it is minimal. Once they start asking you questions, it can become overwhelming. It's not just what color, it is crown style, brim length, etc.

I would suggest looking at hat photos. Also, if you go to Rustlers' Instagram feed and watch their 'reels', there is a lot more information there.

Start with what kind of shape you would like. What kind of crown, side up like a cowboy hat, flat, etc. Color isn't much of an option, its beige or you start off at $495 plus embellishments. This can get spendy and fast. There are so many options when looking into customization. What is this hat going to say about you? Don't let it be something you only wear when you go to a country concert, wear it shopping, at dinner with friends, where it all the time.

I have to say, this was a lot of fun. I can imagine if you go with a group of people, it would be even that much more fun. And to be able to get something that is totally different than everybody else is fantastic.

While walk-ins are welcome, I would recommend booking an appointment. With increased traffic in the store, longer wait times for walk-ins can be expected. Due to limited spacing, each customer making a hat is allowed to be accompanied by one guest.

When booking for more than one guest, use the “Add A Time” button on the calendar to book up to four appointments at the same time. If the same time slot is not available, book the next consecutive slot.

MuttNation Foundation proudly announces the Miranda Lambert New Shelter Grant, in honor of three-time GRAMMY award winner and New York Times best-selling author Miranda Lambert, who co-founded the celebrated nonprofit with her mother, Bev Lambert, in 2009. MuttNation Foundation’s mission is to advance the adoption of shelter pets, promote spay and neuter, and assist during times of natural disaster.

The Miranda Lambert New Shelter Grant is awarded in the spirit of giving a “paw” up to an organization that has recently opened after proving they’ve done the hard work necessary to achieve lift-off. The inaugural Miranda Lambert New Shelter Grants were awarded to two Tennessee organizations: Crossroads Campus and Wags & Walks.

“So many great people were there for me when I was getting started, people who believed in what I was doing, and it meant so much to me,” said Lambert. “I’m proud to be able to be there now, for some of the great organizations that are just getting off the ground. I know how much passion and hard work goes into it – it starts as a dream and the work is rewarding… and endless. I have so much respect for the people who make it happen.”

Crossroads Campus, located in Nashville, partners young adults who face barriers to employment and housing, including young people who have aged out of foster care, with shelter pets at risk for euthanasia. The youth reside on the north Nashville ‘campus’ and pay rent based on their income. In addition to caring for homeless pets awaiting adoption, they are also provided with career guidance and the opportunity to work at Crossroads in a variety of capacities, including learning pet grooming skills.

Wags & Walks, which has opened its new adoption facility in Hermitage, Tenn., has helped find homes for over 3,500 dogs since it first opened its Nashville operation as a rescue in 2019. Now a full-fledged adoption center, Wags & Walks houses up to 100 dogs between their adoption center and foster homes as they prepare for their new forever homes. Wags & Walks is focused on advocating for wrongfully stereotyped bully breeds, medical dogs and mothers with puppies that are often overlooked and at-risk due to overcrowding.

The Miranda Lambert New Shelter Grant was created by the MuttNation Foundation Board of Directors to help more pets and the people and organizations who care for them while honoring Lambert’s lifetime of love and dedication to animals. There is no application process for the Miranda Lambert New Shelter Grant; recipients are selected by the Board of Directors.

Dolly Parton & Peyton Manning

On Saturday, UT fans were surprised when UT graduate Peyton Manning escorted East Tennessee’s beloved icon Dolly Parton onto the field during the University of Tennessee vs. the Georgia Bulldogs game at Neyland Stadium.

Dolly dressed in the Tennessee Vols orange and white then performed “Rocky Top” backed up by the University of Tennessee Choir and the Pride of the Southland Band. The crowd was so loud you couldn't hear Dolly singing. Sadly the Tennessee Vols lost to the Georgia Bulldogs.
